vQuip is a specialty insurance program operated by Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC ("Bluefields," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using vQuip's website and services.

Program Operator

vQuip is a specialty insurance program for adventure rental businesses, operated by Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC — a Managing General Agent incorporated in Delaware. vQuip is not a separate legal entity; it is a branded program of Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC.

Licensing

Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC is licensed as an insurance intermediary in the states where vQuip products are offered. Specific state license numbers are available upon request at hello@vquip.com. Products and availability vary by state and are subject to change.

Policy Issuance

vQuip does not itself issue insurance policies. All policies are issued by licensed admitted or surplus lines carriers that have authorized Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC to administer the vQuip program. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations of each carrier's policy form.

Rental Insurance vs. Renters Insurance

vQuip provides rental insurance — commercial insurance designed for businesses that rent equipment to customers. This is distinct from personal renters insurance (which covers a tenant's personal property). vQuip's products are commercial, business-to-business products and are not personal lines coverage.

Surplus Lines Notice

Certain coverage may be placed with non-admitted surplus lines carriers. Non-admitted carriers are not covered by state insurance guaranty funds. Insureds are encouraged to review their declarations page carefully for information about their carrier and coverage structure.

Loss Control Services

Loss control consultations, recommendations, and technology provided by vQuip are risk management tools intended to help reduce your exposure to loss. They do not create an agency relationship, guarantee that losses will not occur, or modify the terms of any insurance policy.

Agent and Broker Relationships

Agents and brokers who place business through the vQuip program are independent contractors. Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC is not liable for representations made by agents or brokers outside of approved program materials.

State Availability

vQuip programs may not be available in all U.S. states or territories. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell insurance in any jurisdiction where vQuip is not licensed or authorized to do business.
