Program Operator

vQuip is a specialty insurance program for adventure rental businesses, operated by Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC, a Managing General Agent (MGA) incorporated in the State of Delaware. vQuip is not a separate legal entity; it is a branded program of Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC.

Licensing

Bluefields Specialty Insurance, LLC operates as a licensed insurance intermediary in the states where vQuip is offered. Specific state license numbers are available upon request by contacting hello@vquip.com. Insurance products and availability vary by state and are subject to change.

Policy Issuance

vQuip does not itself issue insurance policies. Policies are issued by licensed admitted or surplus lines carriers that have authorized Bluefields Specialty Insurance to administer the vQuip program. All coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations of the applicable carrier policy.

Rental Insurance — Not Renters Insurance

vQuip provides rental insurance for businesses that rent adventure equipment to customers. This is commercial insurance designed for rental fleet operators and is distinct from personal "renters insurance" (which covers tenants' personal property). vQuip policies are business-to-business commercial insurance products.

Surplus Lines

Certain coverage under vQuip programs may be placed with non-admitted surplus lines carriers. Surplus lines insurance is NOT covered by the state insurance guaranty fund. Insureds are encouraged to review their policy declarations carefully to understand the carrier and coverage structure.

Loss Control Services

Loss control consultations, recommendations, and technology provided by vQuip are risk management tools intended to help businesses reduce exposure. These services do not create any agency relationship, guarantee loss prevention, or modify the terms of any insurance policy.

Agent and Broker Relationships

Agents and brokers who access vQuip programs are independent contractors. Bluefields Specialty Insurance is not liable for representations made by agents outside of approved program materials.

Not Available in All States

vQuip programs may not be available in all U.S. states or territories. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell insurance where vQuip is not licensed or authorized.
